RULES AND RESERVATION
The owners of the homestead really hope that before arriving in Šniūrai, you will familiarize yourself with the homestead rules and respect the vision of a cozy and safe vacation in nature.
GENERAL RULES:
Check-in from 2:00 PM, check-out until 12:00 PM (camping area until 2:00 PM).
Vehicles must be parked only in the places indicated by the homestead owners.
Everyone is welcome to relax at Šniūrai – adults and children alike. However, accommodation and campsite rental agreements may only be signed by adults, who assume full responsibility. Parents or accompanying adults are responsible for the safety of minors.
All guests staying at Šniūrai assume responsibility for themselves and their behavior and agree to comply with the homestead’s internal rules.
Guests themselves are responsible for any accidents that may occur inside the cabins, on the territory, in the sauna, hot tub, while swimming in the lake, or using the boat.
We welcome nature lovers to Šniūrai and kindly ask all guests to respect and protect the environment, maintain cleanliness, respect the homestead property and surroundings, avoid littering, and refrain from causing damage to nature or the homestead infrastructure.
The homestead territory is monitored by video surveillance cameras.
Guests are kindly asked not to disturb the peace and relaxation of others. Loud music and excessive noise are not permitted, and after midnight (12:00 AM) any kind of noise is strictly prohibited.
Smoking inside buildings is strictly prohibited (including hookahs, electronic cigarettes, and heated tobacco products).
Please take care of the property. If you notice any damage or malfunction, inform the homestead owners immediately.
Firewood for grilling can be purchased at the homestead (€7 per bundle) or guests may bring their own. Guests are responsible for providing wood for bonfires (either bringing their own or responsibly using fallen branches found in the forest – cutting trees is strictly prohibited). Bonfires may only be lit in designated fire pit areas.
Lighting the sauna or hot tub without informing the homestead owners is prohibited.
Guests are responsible for taking their trash from the cabins or campsite to the waste containers located near the utility building. Please sort waste responsibly and do not dispose of torn mattresses, broken camping furniture, or equipment in the containers.
RESERVATION AND PAYMENT:
A 50% reservation deposit is required when booking accommodation or campsite services. The deposit must be transferred to the bank accounts provided in the contact section.
Reservations are confirmed via SMS message or other communication channels (Messenger, Instagram, Booking messages).
In case of cancellation, the reservation deposit is non-refundable unless agreed otherwise.
The rental or campsite agreement is signed upon arrival. Payment can be made in cash, by bank transfer, or by card.
CABINS AND ACCOMMODATION:
During the summer season, we rent four cabins. All of them are intended for peaceful relaxation in nature. Guests wishing to celebrate special occasions at Šniūrai are welcome during the off-season, when one of the four cabins (the ten-person forest cabin with sauna) is available for such stays.
Only the number of guests agreed upon in the rental agreement may stay in the cabins. Visitors are allowed for short visits, but the homestead owners must be informed in advance (camping area fees for visitors apply – vehicle and person fees).
During the summer season, weekend and holiday stays in the cabins (Friday–Sunday) are available for a minimum of two nights.
Please do not rearrange furniture inside the cabins or move furniture, items, or equipment between different cabins.
For one-night stays, a bedding fee of €5 applies, or guests may bring their own bed linen.
Furniture in the cabins and terraces is not heat-resistant. Please do not burn candles on it or place hot objects on the surfaces.
If any furniture or infrastructure is damaged during your stay, please inform the owners immediately.
PETS:
Pets are welcome and loved at the homestead. However, please note that the homestead is already home to Mėta, a German Shepherd and East Siberian Laika mix, and two cats – Džeris and Princė – who often act like the real owners of the place. We cannot promise they will not visit you during your stay. Guests bringing pets are charged an additional fee of €7 per night in cabins and €5 per night at the campsite.
Guests arriving with pets are fully responsible for them and must ensure that they do not disturb other guests or pose any danger.
Pet owners must collect and properly dispose of their pets’ waste.
Guests are kindly asked not to leave food or food waste outside overnight or unattended for long periods (including bones in fire pits or grills), as the homestead is located near a forest and wild animals may be attracted by such food.
ENTERTAINMENT AND ADDITIONAL SERVICES:
Activities can be booked in advance or upon arrival. Additional services (such as sauna heating or hot tub preparation), if desired for the first night of stay, should be booked in advance.
Pouring beer or other liquids onto the sauna stones in the two steam saunas is prohibited.
Guests are personally responsible for their own safety while using the sauna or hot tub. Please evaluate your health condition and overall well-being before use.
Please place a towel on the sauna benches before use.
After using the hot tub, please do not drain the water yourselves – the homestead owners will take care of it.
IMPORTANT:
We reserve the right to ask guests to leave the homestead if the internal rules are violated (excessive noise, property damage, disturbing other guests, disrespectful behavior towards the owners or other guests, or violations of Lithuanian law). In such cases, payments for accommodation or campsite services are non-refundable.
