Will we be alone in the homestead?
No. The homestead rents four cottages of different sizes, and there is also a campsite where we welcome guests with tents and campers. Therefore, it is likely that you will not be alone. The exception is the winter season, when we rent only one ten-person cottage.
Do the hosts live in the homestead?
Yes. We also spend the summers in Šniūri, so we are always there and happy to help if necessary.
Do you accept pets?
Yes, "Šniūrai" is pet-friendly. We just ask the hosts to be understanding and respectful of both the homestead environment and our old residents - the dog Mėta and the kittens. We want them to continue to be able to live freely in their home, so we ask that you keep your pets with you and take care of them during your stay.
Do all the cottages have amenities?
Toilets and showers are available in the 10-person and 5-person cabins. The double cabin has a toilet, and the shower can be used in the common areas. The four-person cabin has neither a toilet nor a shower - they are located in a nearby common building.
Can guests be invited?
Yes, but please inform the hosts in advance. A picnic fee is charged for day guests.
Are the cabins heated?
Only the ten-person cabin is heated, which is also rented in the winter season. In cooler weather, we can install electric radiators in the other cabins.
Are there any additional fees?
A bed linen fee is charged for one-night stays in the cabin, and a pet fee is charged for arrivals with a pet. We also offer additional services and entertainment: sauna, hot tub, boats, kayaks, paddle boards, and boat rides. If more guests stay in the cabin than the intended (for example: 11 or more people stay in ten-person cabin) - additional personal fees are appied.
Is it possible to celebrate (loudly)?
If you are planning a more noisy celebration, we invite you to organize it in the winter season. In the summer, we welcome guests in Šniūri looking for a quiet rest in nature, so after 10 p.m. we ask you to turn off the music and let everyone enjoy the peace.
Is a reservation necessary?
Yes. Advance reservation is required both for staying in the lodge and when planning a rest at the campsite. If the reservation is canceled, the fee is not refundable.
Are bed linen and towels provided for stays longer than one day?
Yes, for stays longer than one day, the price of bed linen is included in the total price of the accommodation. Guests are also given small towels, please provide large beach towels yourself.
Is there a kitchenette when staying at the campsite?
The homestead has common rooms with toilets, a shower and a terrace, where guests can use refrigerators, kettles, an electric stove (please provide your own dishes), electricity, and drinking water.
Is the water in the homestead drinkable?
Yes, the water is drinkable.
Are there any special campsites for campers?
No. At the campsite, we invite you to stay near the tables located on the shore or on the meadow, where it is convenient to park a camper or a mobile home.
Will there be something for children to do at the homestead?
Of course! We have a children's playground, a volleyball court (not a beach court), a football field, children can safely visit the homestead administrative building, where you can borrow badminton rackets and balls. Also - children spend a lot of time in the swimming area and are brave enough to explore Molėtai as they should - from a boat, paddleboard or kayak. We just want to remind you that parents or adults accompanying children are responsible for the safety of children.
